The lesson “Easter – Jesus’ Sacrifice and the Meaning of Communion” teaches the children the Easter story, emphasizing the sacrifice of Jesus and the special “communion” meal He shared with His disciples. The children will come to understand communion in worship and at church to represent the body and blood of Christ and that it serves as a way to remember Jesus’ death for us.
