The “Portfolio and Literacy Assessment” lesson helps a home-based implementer perform a basic literacy test, so they can understand and address a caregiver’s needs in this area. The assessment also orients a caregiver to the concept of a Caregiver Portfolio (learning journal/ scrapbook), so they can begin to understand various types of learning and document their progress along with their child’s progress.
