The lesson “Road Safety” is part 38 of a 42 part series on parts of the human body, health, and safety. This lesson focuses on safe ways to walk and cross the street. The lesson talks about safe places to walk like sidewalks. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning, hands-on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end. This lesson is designed for a group of young children between the ages of 3 and 5, and is the thirty-eighth physical development lesson in the CoreCurriculum, 3-5 years, Year One.
