The lesson “Good Neighbors (The Good Samaritan)” is part 20 of a 44 partseries on human development, family, health, and safety. This lesson teaches about howpeople can help each other and be good neighbors, like the Good Samaritan from the biblical story. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning, hands-on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end. This lesson is designed for a group of young children between the ages of 3 and 5, and is the twentieth physical development lesson in the Core Curriculum, 3-5 years, Year Two.
