"Helping Children and Families Thrive Through Home Visits " is the tenth edition of Terry Talks, a curriculum of ongoing video presentations and supporting materials led by Terry Laura (Health Technical Advisor at Compassion International). The resources are aimed at equipping and encouraging health and child advocates to learn, build on and put into practice their expertise in health, especially as it relates to children in poverty.

In this edition of Terry Talks, we discover best practices for conducting effective home visits. Home visits are a critical piece of Compassion’s program for pregnant moms and families with young children. Establishing a relationship with caregivers is key, and an implementer’s approach to this task significantly shapes how families respond to the program.

Explore this infographic to learn about the many benefits children and families experience through home visits and to understand the vital role implementers play in helping families thrive!
