Identity in Christ (Part 2)

The lesson “Identity in Christ Part 2” teaches children about God’s abundant love, helping them to identify many of their own positive qualities and God-given gifts. The children are able to vocalize and describe themselves as the most special part of God’s creation and name at least three personal attributes God has given them to make them so special. Using arts and crafts activities, the children appreciate their own talents and develop self-esteem. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the second lesson in the 2nd Year “Self-Awareness” unit.
