The lesson “Intro to the Bible” teaches children about how God expresses His love to us through the messages in the Bible. Through discussion and crafting, the children will be able to name at least one thing God has done to show His love for us. The children will demonstrate love by participating in writing a letter as a group to someone else, as God has done through the Bible. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the first lesson in the 2nd Year “Old Testament” unit.
