The Core Curriculum for children between the ages of 9 and 11 years includes 35 individual lessons that help develop the child physically. This set of lessons includes topics such as the human body and hygiene, as well as health, human development, puberty, nutrition, and safety lessons. Each of the lessons includes: lesson plans (length, objectives, preparation, and materials,) class-time content which includes both detailed instructions on how to teach the lesson topic as well as games and interactive activities to enhance learning, and a teacher assessment. The lessons and activities are intended for use in groups.
