Qavah is a series of training materials created by Compassion International to empower communities and families to solve challenges utilizing resources at their disposal. Qavah is a Hebrew word which means ‘binding together, eagerly waiting, hoping for and expecting’. This term captures a sense of optimism and hope, along with the idea of working together, which is essential for positive, lasting change to take place. This guide is designed to help local coordinators think through all the steps in setting up and running a successful Qavah program.
